[PRD] is a UK based production company founded in 2014 by three like-minded creatives. We set out to bridge the gap between brand and consumer, producing films that establish meaningful connections through original creative approaches, insightful narratives & striking cinematography.

As filmmakers, musicians and marketeers; over the last decade we have developed an instinctive understanding of audience, translating ideas, experiences and products into authentic, inspirational and engaging content. Whether it be the execution of fully formed storyboards, or the development of bespoke creative properties; we bring the power of our collective experience and expertise to every project we engage with.

The tale of PRD Productions began when Ben Hall and Ben Robinson’s worlds collided. Ben Robinson had just created and developed the Qashqai Urban Challenge for Nissan; a pioneering free-ride mountain bike competition that took them on an incredible journey across Europe. Ben Hall produced and directed the broadcast coverage for these events and at some point during the madness of this long hazy summer a mutual respect was forged. Good people that do great work tend to stick with you, and since then they stayed in touch.

After a decade in the music industry fronting the band Capdown, Jake Sims-Fielding decided it was time for a fresh challenge and moved back to Brighton to study urban design in London. Jake knew Ben Robinson to say hello and often saw him on his commute. It was on one of these journeys that Jake convinced Ben (and himself) that a well-travelled creative punk studying design was exactly what his new comms agency Proud Robinson needed. That would be a pretty hard sell to some but thankfully to Ben it made perfect sense.

The dots were joined in 2013 when Ben Robinson recommended Ben Hall to Jake to work on another project for Nissan. Fortuitously they got on and as a result in August 2014 Ben Robinson, Jake Sims-Fielding & Ben Hall formed [PRD] Productions; a company founded on a commitment to producing exceptional work and a belief in the potential of their collective experience.
